The Process
A Community-Driven Plan
Built with input from students, staff, families, and community members.
The referendum plan was developed through an intentional, community-driven process. Key steps included:
Comprehensive facility study to evaluate the physical condition of our buildings.
Educational adequacy assessment to evaluate our learning spaces based on current educational standards.
School board meetings to evaluate maintenance budgets and several options to address the most critical needs.
Demographics and enrollment projections to anticipate general enrollment trends and future class sizes.
A total of 11 listening sessions and surveys with students, staff, community members, board members, and administration.
A community open house to share the goals of the plan and gather feedback.
These steps ensured the plan reflects our community’s priorities and focuses on the most urgent and impactful needs of our buildings.
